The nose offers gourmandize and a very fine richness/power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild berries and small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with fine touches of tonka bean, Cuben pepper, spices as well as a very discreet hint of fresh nutmeg and toasted almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a fine tension, freshness and a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of fruity/juicy small black fruits associated with a touch of fleshy strawberry, tonka bean/dark chocolate as well as very discreet hints of toasted and almond. Good persistence and length.
