The nose is elegant, precise and offers power in delicacy, intensity in control as well as complexity. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, blackberry and pepper associated with pulpy strawberry, sour cherry, hints of blond tobacco, liquorice as well as discreet hints of racy minerality, almond, green cardamom and a subtle paprika hint. The palate is fruity and offers brightness, purity of the fruit, gourmandize, a nice sapidity, a certain tension, a little condensed / discreetly tight side, fat, harmony, silkiness as well as a power in control. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry, cassis and small tangy /crunchy red fruits associated with touches of violet, racy minerality with fine hint of fresh / tangy plum, chocolate / tonka bean, toasted almond, hints of Bourbon vanilla, grey pepper as well as a very discreet hint of paprika, bergamot and salinity. Tannins are elegant, racy and very finely suave. Good length.
