The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, elegance and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of Cuben pepper associated with touches of griotte as well as a hint of candied raspberry and very fine hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, a good definition, juiciness, a fine grain as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/ juicy cassis, griotte and small notes of ripe:/juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of chocolate as well as a discreet hint of liquorice stick and a hint of flowers/varietal. Tannins are structuring and very finely firm. Good length.
