Château Haut-Breton Larigaudière 2017 – Margaux

Château Haut-Breton Larigaudière 2017 – Margaux

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power, elegance, gourmandize as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis and wild strawberry associated with subtle touches of crushed blackberry, wild small berries, racy minerality, liquorice as well as a hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, straight and offers a good definition, a good structure, a beautiful grain, a fine firmness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, fleshy boysenberry, wild strawberry ans discreet touches of small red berries/fleshy raspberry associated with subtle hints of liquorice, sweet spices, and a very discreet hint of flowers (in the background), an imperceptible hint of orange (in the background) as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate and caramelization (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length.
