The nose is aromatic, tight and slightly concentrated. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, cassis and slight hints of blackberry associated with a slight hint of flowers, a discreet hint of raspberry, spices as well as a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and an imperceptible hint of caramelized oak. The palate is frutiy, well-balanced and offers a slight minerality, fat, a slight freshness as well as a slight acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy strawberry and slight hints of ripe redcurrant associated with a hint of cassis, a woody hint as well as a discreet hint of caramelization/hazelnut on the finish/aftertaste. Tannins are fine and well-built.
