Château Haut-Bertinerie 2022 – Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

Château Haut-Bertinerie 2022 – Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is concentrated, but delicate – it expresses juicy red and black fruits (crushed strawberries, morello cherries, blackberries, black plums, red cherries), as well as a pronounced but integrated woody and spicy side. We find notes of sweet spices (licorice, vanilla) and slightly sweet floral touches (peony). The mouth is round and pleasant. The attack is fruity, aromatic, ample. We find notes of ripe fruit (griotte, black plum, red cherry, crushed strawberry), floral freshness (note of violet), as well as a touch of liquorice and slightly minty on the finish. The tannins are fine and silky. A pleasant salivating acidity and good length.
