The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, a certain power as well as deepness. It reveals notes of sweet quince, candied berries and small notes of marmalade associated with slight touches of apple in syrup, with a discreet hint of white flowers/acacia, verbena as well as very discreet hints of spices and almond. The palate is nicely fresh, juicy, fruity, balanced and offers a tangy frame, good definition, fullness, fatness, tension, and nice energy. The wine is luminous and bright in the mouth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of jammy yellow plum, candied lemon and small notes of roasted pineapple associated with slight touches of mango, small yellow fruits in syrup, slight hints of verbena, toasted almond, and a subtle hint of toast and almost vanilla (in the background). Good persistence. Congratulation ! A great success in a difficult vintage.
