The nose is fruity, racy, elegant and offers freshness, minerality as well as precision. It reveals notes of fresh/fleshy raspberry, fresh/fleshy strawberry and small notes of racy minerality (gravel/terroir) associated with fine touches of juicy cassis, violet as well as fine hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of fresh nutmeg (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers gourmandize, a beautiful acidulous frame, a beautiful material, a racy minerality, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a small generous side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and more slightly fresh/fleshy/juicy raspberry, cherry associated with fine touches of tonka bean, spices, toasted as well as fine hints of cocoa, a very discreet hint of crushed almond and an imperceptible hint of ripe almond. Fine firmness in the background. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length. A very beautiful gourmandize on the finish/persistence.
