The nose is elegant, powerful and relatively fine. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and plum combined with touches of undergrowth, truffle and a fine note of roasted oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, harmonious, tight, relatively fleshy, relatively silky and offers a fine racy minerality (terroir), a small juiciness, a nice fresh frame as well as a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry jam and Quetsche plum associated with fine touches of strawberry, a discreet hint of raspberry and licorice. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length.
