The nose is fresh and reveals a discreetly tight grain and spicy quality. There are notes of fresh blackberry, peony and slightly lily combined with fine minerality, a hint of graphite and fine spice. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight and offers juiciness, acidity, good definition, fine tension, precision and a fine linear quality. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy cherry, violet and more lightly lily notes combined with hints of juicy/pulpy casis, fine minerality, graphite/camphor as well as discrete varietal and toasty notes. Good length.
