The nose is aromatic and offers a certain power, a fine intensity as well as a fine grain. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild cassis, violet and small notes of quite ripe blackberry associated with small touches of underwood, rose, small crunchy red berries as well as a subtle hint of rose, tobacco, a subtle hint of tea and pray. The palate is fruity, well-built and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, a small fleshiness, a very fine richness, a saline side, a fine suavity, a beautiful fullness and a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, quite ripe strawberry and small notes of dry cassis associated with touches of rose, peony, underwood as well as fine hints of Badiane, camphor, a discreet hint of pray and chocolate. Very fine hints of hazelnut and salinity on the finish/persistence.
