The nose is fruity, racy and offers a small intensity as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild berriesand small notes of white pepper associated with touches of gravels/iode (terroir), fleshy strawberry as well as hints of liquorice, saffron, lily, discreet hints of coffee and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers freshness, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, tension as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, griotte cherry and small notes of small red berries associated with fine touches of zan, fresh tobacco, saffron, spices, a discreet hint of iodide minerality and toasted/caramelized oak.
