The nose is fruity and offers some concentration, a fine power. There are notes of bright wild blackcurrant, concentrated boysenberry and slightly ripe wild berry fruit with hints of violets, discreet sweetness, fine freshness, discreetly tight tension and some stretch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, boysenberry and more lightly fresh/juicy red berries combined with delicate hints of lily, violet, pepper, black tea as well as discreet toasted/vanilla (in the background) and mocha. The tannins are fine and discreetly tight.
