The nose offers elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of crunchy berries, fresh raspberry combined with slight hints of caramelization, blond tobacco as well as discreet hints of flowers / vanilla and cardamom. The mouth is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight mineral frame, a small crunchiness as well as a very slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy red berries, crunchy cassis and small notes of fresh / crunchy raspberry associated with small touches of flowers, discreet oaky hints as well as an imperceptible touch of tonka bean and blond tobacco. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. There is an imperceptible touch of fresh hazelnut on the aftertaste / persistence. Very discreet chew on the aftertaste.
