The nose is aromatic, fresh and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and wild red berries associated with touches of gray pepper and fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fresh frame, a good material, fleshiness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of crushed/fleshy blackberry, toasted oak, caramelization, dark chocolate/tonka bean, sweet spices as well as subtle/discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence.
