The nose is fruity, racy and offers a good structure, elegance as well a slight juiciness. It reveals notes of cassis, small ripe red berries and slight touches of blackberry, black cherry, a discreet hint of liquorice, racy minerality as well as slight touches of cocoa, wood and a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, fine, delicate, slightly tight and offers juiciness, a nice tension, a nice minerality, a beautiful grain, an acid frame as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and small ripe red berries associated with slight touches of wild strawberry, liquorice / Zan, cocoa, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom and an imperceptible touch of Cuben pepper (in the background). Tannins are elegant and a bit firm. (2020+).
