The nose is fruity and offers intensity, freshness and a small power on the hold. It reveals notes of ripe/juicy cassis, juicy/ripe blackberry, small notes of small black fruits associated with touches of iris, griotte, crushed raspberry as well as a fine hint of fleshy violet plum, timut pepper, violet and a very discreet hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers tension, a fine straightness as well as tension, a small freshness, a small fat, fluidity and a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, small juicy/fresh wild berries, small notes of raspberry, iris associated with hints of cocoa, nutmeg, a discreet varietal hint and a subtle hint of toasted/grilled. Tannins are finely marked.
