Château Gazin 2014 – Pomerol

Château Gazin 2014 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, gourmand and elegant. It reveals notes of crushed raspberry, redcurrant, cassis and slight notes of blackberry, undergrowth associated with a very discreet hint of mocha, wood as well as hints of tobacco and sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, fluid, well-balanced, finely gourmande and offers an acid frame, a nice minerality and juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry and fine notes of cassis, raspberry associated with touches of red berries, a discreet hint of strawberry as well as notes of toasted oak, tobacco and chocolate. Tannins are well-built and a bit firm. Good length. The finish/aftertaste is a bit powerful.
