Château Garreau – XO 15 ans – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity, relatively fine and gourmand. It reveals notes of dried fruits, Zante currante and fine notes of orange zest associated with a touch of dried peach as well as touches of sweet spices, a touch of gray pepper, a hint of cedar and rancio. The palate is fruity, relatively gourmand, balanced and offers a small fresh / minerality frame and a small tension. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of candied yellow fruit and dried yellow grape associated with a hint of dried fig, orangette as well as fine touches of caramel, rancio, a hint of cedar and oak. Good length. The finish is powerwul.
