Château Garreau 1991  – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight elegance as well as a slight fat/richness. It reveals notes of compoted peach and slight notes of quince, candied lemon associated with slight/discreet hints of flowers, a subtle hint of vine peach/quenette, discreet hints of caramelization as well as a subtle hint of lemon zests, hints of spices and slight hints of lemon (which brings dynamism). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers gourmandise, fat, suavity as well as a slight acid frame. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of compoted vine peach and slight notes of compote brugnon associated with slight touches of caramelization, discreet hints of rancio as well as a subtle woody hint and an imperceptible grilled hint. Good length. The aftertase is slightly powerful and gourmande.
