Château Freyneau – Cuvée Traditionnelle 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, fresh, discreetly tight, racy and reveals a fine peppery character. There are notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and, more slightly, violet combined with touches of fresh red berries, touches of zan, a fine touch of iris and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers minerality, a fine unctuousness and dynamism. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, raspberry and more slightly crushed red berries combined with touches of violet, lily as well as fine hints of chocolate, fresh blond tobacco and a discreet hint of nutmeg. Positive bitterness on the finish/persistence. Good length. The tannins are discreetly sticky.
