Château Franc La Rose 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is powerful, concentrated and offers a fine grain, a fine intensity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of cassis, violet and small notes of nutmeg associated with touches of fresh strawberry, fresh blackberry as well as subtle hints of rose, nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, elegant and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fresh frame, minerality, a small richness, a small density as well as a beautiful, suave and slightly creamy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh cassis, juicy / fresh blackberry and small notes of juicy / fresh red berries associated with slight touches of violet, cornflowers as well as slight hints of juicy blueberry, fresh licorice, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of vanilla pod.
