A wine made in a more Burgundian approach than the others wines of the Château Franc-Baudron. It is made from old vines, 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc. The nose is elegant, fruity but it is more discrete than the Château Franc Baudron 2011. Thus there are hints of dark berries, spicy and slightly minty little notes. In mouth it is smooth and offers a beautiful texture. There are hints of plum, black currant and cherry on the palate with a hint of crushed strawberry. Tannins are a little more dry than the classic cuvée of the chateau. A delightful wine.
