(Organic) The nose is fruity and offers some creaminess/concentration. There are notes of creamy blackberry, strawberry and more slightly violet combined with hints of star anise, Sichuan pepper and hints of sweet spice. The palate is fresh, mineral, supple and offers tension and a nice acidic/fresh structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/sour blackberry, blackcurrant and more slightly violet with touches of blue plum, a hint of crushed raspberry as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted almond, a subtle hint of camphor, fresh pepper and a very discreet almost serene hint (in the background). The tannins are supple. Good length. Nice freshness and minerality.
