Château Fourcas Hosten 2019 – Listrac-Médoc

The nose is flowery and offers elegance, concentration and accuracy. There are notes of rose, red berries and, to a lesser extent, cloves, combined with hints of iris, a touch of crunchy blackcurrant, as well as fine spices and a very discreet touch of tobacco. The palate is juicy, mineral, tightly wound, balanced and has a fine uprightness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh raspberry, wild red berry and more slightly rose notes combined with hints of fresh lily, crisp blackcurrant as well as a fine note of fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of mocha. Good length. A subtle hint of salinity in the background.
