Château Fontesteau 2020, Haut-Médoc

Château Fontesteau 2020, Haut-Médoc

On the nose it is aromatic and it offers power, a certain richness, a fine texture as well as complexity. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, lily, crushed blackcurrant and more slightly crunchy strawberry associated with touches of blue berry fruits as well as hints of caramelization and toast. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers a certain tension, minerality, freshness as well as precision and a tannic structure. This wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, fleshy blackcurrant and more slightly bright cherry associated with small touches of fresh iris / lily as well as hints of toast, nutmeg and fine hints of cardamom. A tannic structure that needs time to polish.
