The nose is aromatic and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of cassis, small wild fruits and discreet hints of wild strawberry associated with hints of graphite, wood, spices and a fine / discreet touch of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit gourmand and offers minerality, freshness, fat and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh fruit, blackberry and Quetsche plum associated with fine notes of small berries, red fruits as well as a few discreet notes of saline minerality, touches of black tea and toasted oak. Tannins are fine, well-built and (very) slightly dry. Good length.
