The wine has a medium ruby colour. The nose is expressive and fruity, with savoury spicy and herbaceous notes. On the first nose we find notes of red cherry, Morello cherry, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, black plum and a very discreet sweet touch of prune. On the second nose, the wine expresses notes of eucalyptus, peppermint, liquorice, white pepper, nutmeg and subtle hints of roasted herbs (thyme, laurel), roasted meat and dried flowers (violet, blueberry). On the palate, the wine is juicy, round and offers a bouquet of ripe fruit and a firm tannic structure. It expresses flavours of Morello cherry, red plum, black plum, blueberry, blackcurrant and strawberry, as well as delicate spicy (white pepper, liquorice) and floral (violet, peony) touches. The finish is fruity, with a subtle note of peppermint in the background, slightly dry, but balanced by a salivating acidity. The tannins are young, grippy and a little bitter in a positive way.
