The nose, racy, and it offers a nice delicate texture, elegance, a certain importance also a little contained power. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, (small pulpy black currant?) and slightly raspberry associated with touches of licorice stick, lily, blond tobacco as well as discreet hints of sense of place, racy minerality and with very discreet hints of pepper /mint. The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity, well-balanced and offers fullness, fat, a certain roundness, energy as well as a fine concentration. Nice power and richness with delicateness / freshness. Subtlety in the fruit and it’s fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / ripe cassis / ripe black currant and more slightly small red fruits associated with a touch of plum, licorice, a subtle hint of pepper, spices as well as with a discreet hint of roasted herbs and a subtle hint of mocha (in the background). Tannins are precise, elegant and very subtly / very discreetly marked.
