The nose is aromatic, finely tight, racy and offers a fine grain, a small intensity, a certain power as well as concentration. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of blueberry associated with fine touches of fleshy strawberry, Sichuan pepper, lily, sweet spices and a very fine hint of dry oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a racy minerality, precision as well as a certain aromatic purity, gourmandize, a small concentration and a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, blackberry, small notes of small crushed black berries associated with touches of blueberry, griotte cherry as well as small hints of cocoa, Cuben pepper, spices, graphite and lily. A subtle hint of cardamom and black tea in the finish/persistence.
