The nose is fruity, precise and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry jam and a touch of plum associated with a hint of black cherry and violet. The palate is fruity, relatively fat and offers minerality, tension, a good volume, suavity and precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis jam and slight notes of Quetsche plum associated with touches of small red fruits, a discrete cherry stem tip as well as discreet touches of sweet spices and light oak which supports the fruit. The tannins are fine. Good length and persistence.
