Château Fonbadet 2022 – Pauillac

Beautiful freshness on the nose, which expresses notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry, fresh strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by touches of wild mint, licorice, cumin, a hint of smoke and toast, as well as notes of florals of violet and peony. On the palate, there is depth, richness and precision. The wine expresses flavors of ripe blackcurrant, morello cherry, crushed strawberry, raspberry coulis, accompanied by notes of mint chocolate, bitter cocoa, licorice, ground cloves, violet and dried mint. The texture of the tannins is fine, but they are firm, powerful and give the wine good aging potential. The finish is tight, tannic and juicy thanks to a lively acidity.
