Château Fonbadet 2015 – Pauillac – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity, well-balanced, racy, slightly powerful and offers a small intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and berries associated with a touch of wild strawberry, fresh raspberry, slight / discreet touches of tea, caramelized oak as well as a very discreet hint of almond, mocha and cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced, racy, well-built and offers a slight acid frame (in the background), juiciness, precision as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh boysenberry, black cherry and redcurrant combined with touches of fresh raspberry, cassis, Zan, tea as well as subtle touches of mocha. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
