Château Fleur de Lisse 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, racy and offers concentration as well as a small elegance.It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of ripe wild raspberry associated with small touches of black cherry, liquorice as well as fine hintsof flowers and very discreet hints of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, tension, a beautiful fine grain, a very fine richness (in the background), a racy minerality as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/ripe raspberry associated with small touches of violet, cornflower, liquorice as wel as fine hints of cardamom, tea and very discreet hints of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are fine. Fine sapidity on the finish. There are fine hints of toasted, toasted almond and zan on the persistence.
