The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, tension, a beautiful fine grain, a very fine richness (in the background), a racy minerality as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/ripe raspberry associated with small touches of violet, cornflower, liquorice as wel as fine hints of cardamom, tea and very discreet hints of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are fine. Fine sapidity on the finish. There are fine hints of toasted, toasted almond and zan on the persistence.
