Château Fleur Cardinale 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is powerful, elegant, frank, precise, with finesse in its power and offers freshness as well as a beautiful balance. We find notes of Boysenberry, pulpy blackcurrant and slight notes of roasted raspberry associated with touches of small ripe red fruits, pepper as well as hints of sense of place (local biotop / terroir), pepper. , with a subtle almost “infusion” hint, of cornflower, with a discreet hint of almond, flowers/violet and spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, distinguished and offers minerality, freshness, tension, accuracy, a certain juiciness, a lovely energy, a discreet noble varietal side (which adds freshness), an airy side in its power, delicacy as well as a fine, powerful and frank grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small fresh wild black berries and more lightly of infusion/maceration associated with touches of fresh/roasted raspberry, star anise, cardamom, tonka bean, cornflower as well as only fine sappy hints, a subtle hint of smoke, graphite and toasted hazelnut/sweet spices. The tannins are soft, elegant, precise and distinguished. A fine hint of good bitterness in the background. A very pretty, precise, elegant, racy, harmonious and “fine” wine. Congratulations !
