The nose is fruity and offers a small richness as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, ripe Boysen berry, small notes of fleshy/juicy violet plum associated with touches of strawberry as well as hints of fresh lily, fine hints of liquorice and a very discreet hint of grey pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, minerality, a fine tension as well as a pulpy/juicy/very discreetly tight fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy red berries associated with fine hints of juicy violet plum as well as hints of lily/lilac and very discreet hints of toasted almond. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A small tension on the finish. A iodine hint and cocoa on the finish/persistence.
