(38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Cabernet Franc, 36% Merlot) The nose is beautifully built, elegant as well as fine and powerful at once. It reveals notes of ripe/fresh blackberry and slight notes of violet, cassis, blueberry associated with slight hints of spices, a discreet oak as well as slight hints of dark chocolate. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, beautifully racy (terroir) and offers a very beautiful freshness, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful tension, roundness, a nice matter, gourmandise, a slight fat as well as a bright fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy blackberry, cassis and a discreet hint of crushed blueberry associated with a hint of ripe/fresh Gariguette strawberry, slight hints of fresh red berries as well as a discreet hint of dark chocolate, flowers, toasted oak, a very discreet hint of spices and very slight toasted/caramelized notes. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly creamy. Good length and persistence with slight notes of dark chocolate. Beautiful harmony, finesse, roundness, suavity, juiciness, power and balance.
