Château Figeac 2015 – Saint-Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé B

The nose is aromatic, elegant, rich and generous. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and flowers (violet and lily) associated with a discreet touch of oak and a hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, gourmand / generous / rich and offers roundness, an acid frame as well as a beautiful, thick and silky matter. The mouth expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fresh cherry associated with a touch of strawberry, a hint of blueberry, graphite and slight notes of violet, toasted oak (discreetly, in the background) and a hint of caramel on the finish. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length. Generosity, “drinkability” and a beautiful potential! A nicely powerful wine!
