Château Fayau 2011 – Cadillac

The nose is aromatic, relatively fruity and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of beeswax, lime zest, leather and spices combined with touches of juicy small yellow fruits as well as a hint of gray pepper and an imperceptible hint of peach flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine juiciness, suavity, an acid frame as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crystallized lemon and crystallized green apple combined with notes of crunchy pineapple, crushed brugnon, a touch of apple blossom as well as a subtle hint of spices, honey and almond. Good length.
