(15% Cabernet Franc, 85% Merlot) The nose is elegant, airy, it offers a lovely finesse of grain and a very discreet peppery-airy side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bergamot, violet and small notes of gray pepper, associated with delicate hints of lilac, nutmeg, fine hints of small red fruits/ripe plum and licorice/stick. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, with a certain brilliance and brightness of fruit, pulpiness and a fine spherical side. It expresses notes of pulpy violet plum, cherry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of lily, star anise, as well as a hint of sappy, discreet hints of licorice stick, graphene and a subtle hint of chocolate nibs. The tannins are precise, mellow and offer good definition. A wine offering freshness, minerality, purity and a chiselled side. A subtle, almost saline hint in the background.
