On the nose, it offers some intensity, a little power and a little tightness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe wild berries and more lightly Szechuan pepper combined with small touches of ripe red berries, violet as well as fine hints of nutmeg, spice, a discreet hint of green curry and nutmeg. On the palate, fruity and offers freshness, fine richness and minerality. The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry/blackberry, creamy raspberry and more lightly ripe dark berry fruit combined with hints of violet, lily, chocolate/tonka bean, fine touches of curry, toasted almond and nutmeg. Good length. A very fine waft of vanilla on the finish.
