Château d’Yquem 2015 – Sauternes, 1er Grand Cru Classé Supérieur

The nose is fresh, fruity, elegant, complex, relatively gourmand and offers a beautiful finesse and richness. It reveals notes of fresh citrus, candied citrus (lemon, clementine …) and a touch of pink grapefruit associated with a hint of peach in syrup, white flowers, a small touch of brugnon (in the background) as well as a discreet touch of honey and fine / discreet touches of gingerbread. The palate is fruity, nicely balanced, gourmand and offers a beautiful volume, precision, a beautiful freshness, tension, richnesse, finesse as well as an unctuous matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of candied apricot and fine touches of pink grapefruit, candied vine peach, candied citrus combined with a touch of honey, a hint of mango as well as a hint of lemon and jammy white fruit. Good length and beautiful persistence. A fine, fruity, well-balanced and depth wine ! Beautiful success ! Beautiful potential for the future !
