The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize as well as elegance. It reveals notes of vanilla, pulpy strawberry and small notes of crushed cassis associated with touches of violet, nutmeg and discreet hints of fresh hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame as well as a good definition, minerality and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy strawberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of fresh/juicy cherry associated with touches of racy minerality, juicy violet plum, violet, vanilla, toasted and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very discreet hint of mocha in the persistence.
