The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand, well-built and offers a very fine power as well as a beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of violet, ripe wild redcurrant and ripe wild strawberry associated with small touches of small black fruits, hints of cornflower as well as fine hints of nutmeg, pepper, spices and racy minerality. The palate is fruity, juicy, fine and offers an aromatic purity, a good definition, structure, a very fine tension, a racy minerality as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrant, ripe/juicy raspberry, cherry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of small fresh flowers as well as very fine hints of pepper, cocoa and grilled cocoa. Tannins are fine and elegant.
