The nose is fruity, fine, slightly bewitching and offers harmony, elegance as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of crushe cassis, violet and strawberry associated with fine touches of crushed blackberry, liquorice, black cherry, sweet spices as well as subtle hints of sugared tobacco, discreet hints of racy minerality, toasted/roasted oak, an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper and coffee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, slightly tight and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, a fine suavity, fat, a good maturity, gourmandize, a fine tension, a very fine juiciness (in the background) as well as a fine power. Tannins are well-built and offers silkiness yet. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, ripe/fleshy red berries and mores slightly wild strawberry, cassis associated with hints of toasted oak, coffee and a very discreet hint of tonka bean, flowers (in the background) as well as an imperceptible hint of almond and toasted bread. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. Very discreet chews on the finish/persistence.
