Château du Perier 2016 – Médoc

The nose is fruity, racy and ofers a fine structure. It reveals notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, and small notes of blackberry, wild strawberry associated with discreet hints of chocolate, toasted and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine acidulous frame as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of fleshy/juicy red berries associated with a touch of wild strawberry, spices as well as discreet hints of pepper (in the background). Tannins are well-built. There are very hints of liquorice, mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean on the finish.
