The nose is a bit tight. It reveals fine notes of leather / gray pepper and touches of cassis, blackberry associated with subtle hints of wild strawberry, wild berries as well as subtle / discreet hints of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a slight juiciness, a slight suavity and a slight gourmand side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, red cherry, redcurrant and slight touches of blackberry associated with a subtle touch of minerality, discreet cassis bud hint (in the background), liquorice, chocolate and coffee on the finish. There is a subtle hint of caramelization on the finish.
