Château du Moulin-à-Vent – Les Grands Savarins 2020 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is spicy, fresh and offers a varietal side in its power. There are notes of Boysenberry, fresh grey pepper and small notes of local grove associated with slight hints of infusion and a discreet almost aromatic herbs hint and fleshy small red fruits. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, fresh/ acidulous frame, tension and a slight roundness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, pulpy/ juicy raspberry and small notes of sage associated with touches of wild small fruits, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of blond tabaco, racy minerality and a discreet hint of infusion. Beautiful complexity and definition on the finish. Beautiful freshness and a badian and chocolate side on the finish. Fresh and sapid tannins. Good length. Beautiful textured side and good richness on the finish, all in balance. Beautiful sapid pesistence. Good work on the quite discreet good bitters in the background and toasted.
