The nose is tense, spicy, structured and offers certain freshness. There are notes of violet, dry tabaco and small notes of pepper, associated with touches of star anise, liquorice stick, cherry blossom as well as touches of ripe fruits. The mouth is fruity and offets juiciness, suavity, minerality, a juicy/ tangy frame, structure, elegance in its tension/ straightness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy cherry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of blackberry, juicy small fruits as well as hints of liquorice stick, toasted and slight hints of nutmeg. A discreet hint of pepper. Good length and tension. A beautiful small chew on the finish/ persistence. Beautiful freshness. Persistence with a varietal/ laurel bay hint.
